Ted Koch as Automatic Jack

TED KOCH is very happy to be back at Next, where he last appeared as Macduff in the highly successful production of Macbeth.

Ted is currently on Broadway in New York performing in the Tony Award winning 1999 production of Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman".

Prior to Burning Chrome he was seen at the Goodman theater in As You Like It. Before that he appeared in Apple Tree Theater's production of Kindertransport, as Preacher Haggler in Bailiwick's Dark of The Moon, and as Pistol in Shakespeare Repertory's production of The Merry Wives of Windsor.

He is a founding member and co-artistic director of CT20 Ensemble, and recently received a principal actor Jeff Citation for his portrayal of Treat in their critically acclaimed production of Orphans.

Other Chicago credits include: Fair Maid of the West (CT20 Ensemble); Stand Up Tragedy, 110 in the Shade, and The Rothchilds (Apple Tree Theatre). He has also worked with such theatres as Pegasus, Lifeline, Interplay, Center, Steppenwolf, Prologue, and a host of others. He was also recently seen in an episode of this season's television series, "Chicago Hope" (CBS). Ted spent a summer studying in London with the Royal National Theatre and a summer in Montana with Montana Shakespeare.
